How to Change the Category of Components

Components can be re-categorized regardless of their current category, but only if Wix supports this functionality. If a component can be re-categorized, the option will appear in the Components section of the app. If the Edit Category option is not available, it means Wix does not allow re-categorization for that specific component type.

How to Change a Component’s Category

1. Open the app dashboard.

2. Go to the Components tab.

3. Locate the third-party app you want to edit.

4. Select Edit Category (if available) and update the category.
