How do we evaluate your app?

Your app is evaluated on whether it runs prior consent and whether it provides a necessary/essential service^*.

• If your app runs prior consent and is not necessary/essential it gets highlighted.
• If your app runs prior consent and is necessary, a comment is added that your app runs prior consent, and is authorized to do so.
• If your app doesn’t run prior consent, the end-user is informed that your app is appropriately being blocked prior consent.

^* A necessary essential service is classified as such, if blocking it prevents the website from functioning.
